What we collect when you visit this website, why, and what you can do about it.

This policy covers datstraanalytics.com — our public website. It does not cover data we process on behalf of clients under a signed engagement; that is governed by the data processing terms in the relevant contract.
Datstra Analytics builds data infrastructure for nonprofits and mid-market organizations. For any question about this policy or the data we hold, contact hello@datstraanalytics.com.
If you complete the form on our contact page, you provide your name, email address, organization, role, an annual revenue range, and a free-text description of your data challenge. Submitting that form opens a scheduling window operated by Calendly and passes those details to it so you do not have to retype them. If you book, Calendly also records your selected time and any information you add there.
If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence.
Like most websites, we receive technical information automatically when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and the times of those visits. We use cookies and similar browser storage to support this.
We use a business-audience identification service (RB2B) that attempts to identify the company a visitor is browsing from, and in some cases an individual professional profile, by matching technical signals against third-party business data. This means we may learn that someone from a particular organization — and occasionally who — visited this site, even if you never contacted us.
We use this only to understand which organizations are interested in our work and to inform business outreach. If you would prefer not to be identified this way, email hello@datstraanalytics.com and we will suppress your details.
These third parties receive some of the information described above:
| Service | Purpose | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager | Understanding how the site is used | IP address, device and browser data, pages viewed, referrer |
| RB2B | Identifying visiting organizations | Technical signals matched against third-party business data |
| Calendly | Scheduling calls | Name, email, organization, role, revenue range, your message, booking time |
| Google Fonts | Typefaces used on this site | IP address, as a technical consequence of loading the files |
| GitHub Pages | Website hosting | Standard server request logs |
Each operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services listed above except where we are legally required to.
Where the law requires a basis for processing, ours is our legitimate interest in understanding and growing our business — balanced against your interests — and, where you have submitted a form or emailed us, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Enquiries and correspondence are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the relationship, and then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of the services above. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the UK and EU, and the CCPA in California — you may have additional statutory rights, such as the right to object to processing, to request a portable copy of your data, or to complain to a regulator. We honour these requests regardless of where you are based. Email us and we will action it.
This site is intended for professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
We are based in the United States and the services above are predominantly US-based, so information collected through this site is processed in the United States.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
Email hello@datstraanalytics.com. A real person reads it, and we will action any request without making you chase us.
